Absolutely support these efforts but am also aware of multiple other organizations trying to do similar work. Specifically 50501 (50 states, 50 protests, 1 movement) and the General Strike US, and to some extent the Tesla Take Down efforts. Can we all work together and consolidate efforts?
Thank you, and I completely agree. To meet the magnitude of what we’re up against, it’s going to take many groups, strategies, and overlapping circles of resistance. We don’t need one unified voice—we need a chorus that can harmonize and move together when it matters most.
The Firewall isn’t here to replace any other movement or network. It’s a space for people - especially professionals inside institutions - who want to take action and protect our democracy from the inside out. Some folks here may already be involved elsewhere, and that’s great. Others may be looking for a place to plug in. I want this to be one of those places.
So let’s keep building across and between: stronger together, and smarter for it.
